Whilst we are based at Te Arai, we are a mobile surf school and are not restricted to any one beach. We operate at the beach offering the most suitable conditions on the day, in the local area, depending on swell size and direction, wind direction and tides. Similarly we do not operate the lessons at fixed times each day so we can respond to the varying rhythm of the waves and tides.
We can provide a safe and enjoyable time in the surf for disabled students. Wayne has successfully introduced people with a range of disabilities to the surfing experience. Lessons are provided on a One to One or One to Two basis and delivered with patience and understanding so as to maximize the fun and enjoyment they experience in the waves with a surfboard.What to bring: Beach wear, towel, water, waterproof sunscreen.
