Have a Go Surf Day for Kids 9-16

On the 28th and 29th of November is the official opening of the new Baylys Beach Community Centre and facility for Baylys Beach Surf Lifesaving
Surf Lifesaving will be conducting a workshop and promotions on the day whilst patrolling the beach all weekend
Activities will run from 10 to 6 on both Saturday and Sunday finishing with a community pot-luck gathering on the Sunday from 4 to 6.
Please take the time during the day to register for Surf Life Saving Nippers, Junior Surf & Membership with Surf Lifesaving and enjoy other activities over both Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November – they need all of our support and provide a great service to the community.
This Have A Go Surf Day is for kids and youth (9-16 years old) who may be new to surfing, beginners, intermediate surfers and even those that have never surfed before!
All surfboards, wetsuits, sunscreen and coaching provided by internationally qualified and experienced instructors, all of whom are first aid certified.. Also supported by our local trainee instructors. Surf Lessons are educational and fun incorporating surfing safety!

Important: We have limited spaces please be considerate on number of youth booked in per family.

Whats included: Everything! Surfboards, wetsuits, instructor coaching and a fantastic experience. Surfers are welcome to bring their own surfboards and wetsuits if they wish.
What to bring: Towel, warm change of clothes, good footwear, water bottle!

Important: 99% of the time our surf events happen without fail! It is possible that the weather/sea conditions may not be desirable in which case we we may need to cancel the surf lessons and will keep you informed.
