Our 5 acre property boasts over 2,500 weird and wonderful native and sub-tropical plants and palms. For the more adventurous, explore 25 acres of native eco reserve in front of our property.
Bennetts is a popular cafe and chocolate maker in Mangawhai Village.

This amazing walk takes you along the beach, up along the clifftops with panoramic views and through cooling patches of bush where a native pigeon may be seen feeding on the nikau berries.
Find the table at the highest point on the property to get the best view in all of Te Arai. From here you will be able to see all of the East Coast islands and incredible landscape features.
With stories as diverse as WWII shipwrecks and geology at the beach, the museum offers a fascinating look through Mangawhai’s past and the people who shaped it.
